The two internal rotors rotate in a counter-clockwise position from each other and is synchronized with the use of a set of gear wheels. While the internal lobes are motivated by the gear wheels to spin, the air is drawn into the inlet port, by the motion of the lobes and then ejected through the outlet port. Depending on the speed of the rotation, the displacement of air will have varying strength.
